Tasty Bread Crumbs
i'm a new low carber but have made some low carb bread crumbs using the flax seed bread recipe and some pork scratchings, onion and garlic salt, but they still taste bland on my chicken strips, do you have any recipes to make these a more tasty bread crumbs :yummy:, any advice greatly received, thanks A-M

Here's some seasonings that would be good. Garlic and onion powder, using the salted versions could make it too salty, sage, thyme, marjoram, basil, oregano, smoked paprika. Whatever combination of the above. I would probably use the garlic, onion and sage together or garlic, onion and thyme, or garlic, onion, basil and oregano. Just use what tastes good to you, it's really a personal preference. You could even use chicken billion powder. Adding Parmesan to any of the above spices is good too.

My Seafood Spice Blend does wonders for bread crumbs you are going to use as coatings. It appears at the bottom of this recipe post: http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/lo...ied-steak.html

You could also use ranch or Italian seasoning packets, chicken bullion powder, Cajun seasoning or Mexican, it just depends on what flavors you like.
