Maybe try pecan meal, or hazelnut flour.

Thanks, I lost it in 2011, been hanging around the same weight for over a year. I wish I could get lower. But stress hasn't let up in months. I am raising 2 grandchildren, ages 4 and 6.

Hi! I made this last night and the whole house smelled fantastic! I used all the original ingredients, but after the first bake at 350, I crumbled instead of cutting into squares. Then I added the sliced almonds and unsweetened coconut shavings and then tossed the entire thing with a few glugs of sf Torani coconut syrup. Then I spread it back out on the cookie sheet and back in the oven at 250 until it was thoroughly dry and crunchy. It took about a half hour, and I tossed it every ten minutes so it would dry evenly.

I had some for breakfast this morning and it was great! Next batch I am going to try using a different syrup to experiment a little. Maybe sf Brown Sugar Cinnamon Torani syrup next time.....or chocolate!
