Almond Flour pie crust recipe

Does anyone have a tried and true Almond Flour pie crust recipe that doesn't contain any other flour and no sugar. I am going to make meat pies which is a tradition in our house for the Christmas season. I wanted to make some 6 inch ones just for me. They are double crusted but I could do a cut out for the top. I don't want a sweet dough but then I don't make a sweet dough for any of my pies. I have done searchs and have some idea but just wondered if anyone had one they know works. Thanks in Advance I can taste them already!

I've made the Chicken Pot Pie recipe from the blog Comfy Belly and it was easy to work with and tasted great. Google the blog and search for the recipe. It should be easy to find. Hope this helps!

I have tried the traditional meat pie with an almond crust and it was too soggy. I think the regular wheat crust does not absorb liquid as much as the almond crust. You might want to try a mix of coconut flour and almond flour.

Cheryl - formerly from Northern Ontario as well!

Laurie and Cheryl thanks. I will look it up Laurie and Cheryl I will keep that in mind. I am thinking I might cook the bottom crust a bit first and a cut out top. Then add the filling and put the cut off top on. My meat is fairly dry with I do put the pies together, Grandma recipe. Cheryl with part were you from I am very north. No coconut flour to be had although I can order it.

Hi Jo, I am from a little town called Iroquois Falls. Pretty far north as well. I also did some pole walking down south here, but nearly caused an accident as people just couldnt stop gawking.....

I had alot of people start at me in the spring but since this is such a small place and they see me going all the time they are sure to it. Use to be they stared now they wave and give me the thumgs up. Changing the way people think on mind at a time
