Question about Thick Sliced Bacon

Hi! I just discovered a product that seems to good to be true, so I wanted to check with the experts and see if anyone had thoughts!

Has anyone tried Wellshire's Thick Sliced Maple bacon?

- it's 60 calories for 2 pan fried slices, and the slices are HUGE!
- it has 0g sugar, 0g carbs, 3g fat, 4g protein and 110 mg sodium per 2 slices.
- it also has no nitrates and there are only 5 ingredients (pork, maple syrup, sea salt, raw sugar, spices).

I just had a few slices and it made me SO full, I'm concerned that I'm somehow misreading the nutrition label or something? Has anyone noticed stalls when consuming this product or similar "thick sliced bacon?"

Thanks in advance!

It seems impossible that it is 0 carbs as it has maple syrup and sugar.

i know, right?! it doesn't taste sweet, so there's probably only a touch in there...but still! here's a pic of the label: http://oi47.tinypic.com/30iyud1.jpg

(sorry it's sideways!)

As long as you're only eating 2 or 3 slices, it shouldn't be a big deal with the carbs. There's probably a trace amount, and that's how they get away with the "0" on the label. But if there's maple syrup and sugar in there, it's got carbs.

I would eat it, but make sure I stayed to 1 serving. I looooove thick-cut bacon!

I note that it says there's 28 servings in that package. But that doesn't appear to be 56 strips of bacon. Slice up the strips of a new package so that you end up with 56 slices. I'll bet that you find they are slices about 2-3" long. Just guesstimating by what I can see, it looks like there's about 14 strips. That means that each serving is half a strip long.
