• Butter
• Virgin coconut oil
• Natural Peanut Butter
Liquid Stevia
That sounds super yummy! Thinking of ways I could tweak that to make it non dairy & no sweetener but still just as good! I can hear those rusty cogs in my brain trying to get rollin to figure this one out now!

Wegman's should have all of that. I didn't look there for the coconut oil or butter (Trader Joe's is considerably closer to my house), but I did get chocolate almond butter and regular almond butter there, in the "natural foods" section. (I was looking for a particular brand, and it was totally worth the drive down there. I eat that chocolate almond butter off the spoon.)

Recently I paid:

Walmart - $10 for 10 oz of coconut oil
Trader Joes - $6 for 16 oz (I think?) of coconut oil. It was a larger jar than Walmart..can't remember if it was 12 oz or 16 oz though.

Guess where I'll buy my oil from now on?

I tried to make a Reese's fat bomb by mixing:

1/2 c pb
2/3 c melted co
a few squares of 99% Lindt dark chocolate.

This didn't really work, as the pb got gloopy in the bottom of the pyrex measuring cup. So though it's putzy, next time I'll just mix the pb and coco oil together and melt the chocolate separately, then layer:

Chocolate on bottom..chill for a bit..
coco oil+pb in the middle..chill for a bit..
Chocolate on top.

I highly recommend using silicone muffin cups!

You can mix any amount of all of those things, and come up with something yummy.

Zay, you can make clouds w the butter, splenda and cream cheese. I made fat bombs for the first time two days ago: Equal parts PB, cream cheese and butter.

Oh thank you my dear Susan! I did just see a recipe similar to that. I'm looking for exact amounts so I don't mess them up. Plus I would like the amounts so I can count my macronutrients on dailyplate. Thanks!

That's funny. I was thinking of doing this same basic layering approach, but I was going to do chocolate and coconut oil together, then almond butter, then more chocolate/coconut oil.

You're certainly welcome, zay! The PB bombs were: 1/3 stick butter, 1/3 tub cream cheese, 1/3 cup PB. Room temp then used a mixer. I froze them in paper cups, and eat them and the clouds frozen.. Well, okay, thawed for a minute or two.

Induction?

I am new to these boards so please bear with me. I lost 60 pounds on Atkins and have hit a slump. Feeling very discouraged. Going back to induction to try and get moving again. Can you do fat bombs in induction?

As long as you don't exceed the dairy limitations and use a version of the recipe that has no nut butters it would be fine for induction.

I made a new one tonight.

1/2 cup coconut oil
1-170gram box of coconut cream
1/2 cup unsweetened flake coconut
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp splenda

Mix until smooth. I rolled into 13 balls, about 1 tbsp each. Entered all the ingredients into a tracker and came up with 196 calories each, 2 carbs, 1 fiber, 2 protein, 20 fat. So, 1 net carb per ball.

You can make single servings. 1 tbsp butter/coconut oil with 1 tbsp of peanut butter and 1/4 tbsp of cocoa powder would be a single serving of the ones I normally make.

I was going to make a batch, but had no idea how low on co I was. I used a block of cream cheese and probably half a cup of co. Probably less, even. For flavor, I was stumped so I mixed in a packet of sugar-free jello (lemon). Pretty tasty before they were even chilled! They are in the freezer now - I ended up with a dozen in this batch after I'd sampled.

I want to get the Capella drops in cookie dough flavor and mix in dark chocolate chips... Little frozen bites of fat-filled deliciousness.

Oooo I bet that would be good with cream cheese, sugar free jello, and heavy cream, whipped up then dropped onto waxed paper and frozen, sorta like guilt free ice cream! Even just whipping the cream with jello powder would be awesome, I think I saw that idea on these boards before.

So ou can't use nut butters on induction. And are you allowed to use the chocolate? Can someone recommend a recipe for one of these that would be induction friendly? Thanks so much
I didn't realize that fat was supposed to be such a part of the diet. I have recently added more cream cheese and butter and seem to be starting to work my way outta my stall...thank goodness!

Good morning.

Got a dumb question. Do you eat these for your days food or do you just eat a few along with your other foods to lose or break a stall?

Sounds so yummy.

Hopefully we will get an answer. I just made some but had to leave out the CO because it just doesn't like me
I used some almond butter that I had, but think I would like peanut butter better.

It's not a dumb question! I started with making clouds (Linda's cream cheese clouds-recipe found on this site) earlier this year for a TV/evening treat. I just learned about, and started to make, fat bombs last weekend. Like others, I started eating one or two to up my daily fat intake to 80%. I make sure to track them as part of my daily carb/calorie/nutrition totals. Something is working because I've lost 3 pounds since Saturday.

I would say that they definately work, Susan. Thank you for your kind reply. Sounds wonderful and I will be using these for my special treats.
