VERY Simple Fat Bomb Recipe?
 
Does anyone know of one with maybe 5 ingredients or less that doesn't use coconut milk, oil, or flour (because I don't have them and wouldn't want to buy them for just this purpose). I also don't have almond anything. Thanx!

I have one from Linda's recipe site:

Cream Cheese Clouds

8 oz of cream cheese, softened
1 stick or 1/2 cup of unsalted butter (very important that it's unsalted!)
1/2 - 3/4 cup granular splenda or liquid equivalent
1/2 teaspoon vanilla or other flavoring

Mix all ingredients together with a mixer until smooth. ON waxed or parchment paper, using two teaspoons, drop little bite sized pieces. You should get around 22-25 of these. Freeze these at least an hour.

With granular Splenda (at 3/4 cup):
Per Cloud: 70 Calories; 7g Fat; 1g Protein; 1g Carbohydrate; 0g Dietary Fiber; 1g Net Carb
Per 2 Clouds: 140 Calories; 14g Fat; 2g Protein; 2g Carbohydrate; 0g Dietary Fiber; 2g Net Carbs

With liquid Splenda:
Per 2 Clouds: 134 Calories; 14g Fat; 2g Protein; .5g Carbohydrate; 0g Dietary Fiber; .5g Net Carbs
Per 4 Clouds: 268 Calories; 29g Fat; 3g Protein; 1g Carbohydrate; 0g Dietary Fiber; 1g Net Carb

I eat 5 of these for a meal and they taste like little bites of cheesecake. If you keep them frozen, they are a little harder to chow down on but that also means it's hard to binge on them! LOL! I prefer it with the 1/2 cup of splenda. Be sure to use unsalted butter - they really don't taste too good otherwise.

Here's another good one I found on Linda's site that I've been eating:

Swiss Miss Mousse

-1 cup of heavy whipping cream
- 1 envelope of diet (NOT sugar free, but diet) Swiss Miss

Using mixer, whip together until it turns to whip cream.

Try not to eat whole bowl at one sitting.;);)

Makes 4 servings:

Per Serving: 218 Calories; 22g Fat; 2g Protein; 4g Carbohydrate; 1g Dietary Fiber; 3g Net Carbs

I use a small melon ball scooper to make my cream cheese clouds. An ice tray sounds like a good idea too.

Just made something else kind of heavy on the fat:

- 10 oz frozen spinach
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 stalk of green onion
- salt and pepper

Cook spinach in microwave and drain off water. Soften cream cheese in microwave. Chop green onion and add to cream cheese, stirring in salt and pepper also. Add in spinach.

Resist eating the entire bowl...

SO YUMMY!

I make the cream cheese clouds and add 1/4 tsp. peppermint oil. Then I spread it on wax paper about 1/4 inch thick and freeze for a little, then cut into about 3/4 inch squares. They are sooo good.
I eat them frozen.

Some say coconut oil, but you can just use butter. It's really to help you with all types of flavorings.

My Fat Bomb Recipe

By weight:
4 oz nut butter
4 oz coconut oil or coconut manna/butter (put unsweetened coconut into a blender or food processor for about 10 min, until liquidy)
2 oz butter (4 tbsp)
sweetening to taste (I use a mix of fake honey and EZSweets)
extra coconut shreds can also be added for texture

Heat until it is liquid enough to mix easily. Pour into a loaf pan or silicone molds and refrigerate until hard, then cut into pieces. Easily doubled.

I always have some of these around for desperate moments.

I use it to get my fat percentage up without significantly adding to my protein and carbs, as I have no problem meeting the percentages in those two areas.

How on earth can you not have anything almond...not even extract??? If used sparingly it has a cherry taste.

lol! I've only been eating this way since July. Before that I never baked and never had all that much of a sweet tooth. I love cheesecake and occasionally wanted a super chocolatey cake or brownie with ice cream, but I went out for them if I really wanted them. I think that helped me not gain too too much weight.

I got to goal without any of the "usual" low carb staples, but stayed low carb anyway. Now I have a huge bag of Splenda for my husband, liquid Stevia for me, and s/f vanilla extract. So I'm getting there..... :)

I made the cream cheese clouds today and ate 2 after dinner. They were so easy and yummy! I love the fact that you eat them frozen because they last longer and feel more like a real snack rather than just a quick bite. I think I'll be able to resist overeating these delicious bombs due to that fact! Thank you to all of you for contributing to this thread. You've given me a lot of very good ideas.

I made my first fat bombs today - I used butter, coconut oil, peanut butter, cocoa and some sweetener. I made them in my peanut butter cup molds and froze, I ate one a little while ago and I must it was very tasty. I also added a few chopped up peanuts in the mix. I need to up my fat a bit so these should surely do the trick! It has taken me awhile to join the bandwagon on these, they really didn't appeal to me, I thought they would be very greasy and, well, yucky. I'm pleasantly surprised!
