This is so maddening and disappointing! So proud of her for exposing these blatant lies! Hopefully they will have to change their advertising stats!

Last year I was testing my blood sugar with Dreamfield's Pasta
and Julian Bread. I posted my numbers and stopped purchasing
the bread. I am grain and yeast free now because of health
issues, however I was on to the knowledge last year just because
of testing.. We have to be able to believe our labels. It could be
very health threatening to be deceived, perhaps even life threatening
to someone. I am thankful.

Wow Thanks for all this info . I'm glad I never tried it because of the wheat.

But I got caught by the gluten free Udi's . A friend had bouht some and asked if I wanted to try it. A quarter piece of bagel made me so sick for days.

years ago I bought a premade falafel sandwich at the grocery store made by a local restaurant. it had nutritional stats on the label, part of which cited 238 cals for the WHOLE HUGE sandwich. i'm talking full pita, several large fried falafel balls, tahini sauce.....the whole shabang. the total fat was less than 3 gm. this was back before i knew much about calories...and I was young and trusting....how could it NOT be true??? and let's face it, i WANTED it to be true. so i regularly started eating these 2 at a time. I was young and very active, so 500 cals for a meal seemed almost a bit low. But I started gaining weight VERY quickly. I didn't want to believe it was my beloved falafels, i loved them so! but i had them tested..........over 900 CALORIES PER SANDWICH!!!!! This restaurant still sells their falafels at stores. Absolutely shameful. They have amended the label a LITTLE. the last time I looked at them I think the calories listed were around 400?? still nowhere near reality. absolutely shameful. and they are still in business.
at the same time a friend of mine was gaining weight eating "low carb" desserts by a certain company (tweet, tweet). she had them tested and their stats were also horribly wrong. i believe that company is no longer around, not sure though.
very disappointing for everyone, but downright scary for those monitoring blood glucose levels.
