Atkins All Purpose Bake Mix?

Hello all,

I recently purchased some Atkins All-Purpose Bake Mix, but I realized that I don't know what to use it for. The only thing I can think of is pancakes, but I KNOW that there are other uses for it!

There doesn't seem to be any recipes on the Atkins website, which I found surprising. Can anyone help me out with some recipes that I can use this mix for? What can I use this mix as a substitute for?

Thanks in advance!

There are bunches of recipes on the Atkins website that call for the mix. But their new website software requires you be a member to access them now, it would appear. All you can see without signing in are the ones displayed on that first page. But there are over 1000 on the site. I can't get at them anymore unless I sign in. Didn't used to be set up that way 6 months ago. But it's free to join, so it might be worth it to join just so you can access the recipes. You can pull up the recipes by category or by phase. Trust me, there are a lot of good cake/bread/dessert recipes that call for the mix. They have great side dish and entree recipes, too.

Yeah, I've heard mixed reviews. I'm not too pleased about the ingredients, but I would like to at least try it out.

INGREDIENTS: Wheat gluten, whole grain soy flour, modified wheat starch, unprocessed wheat bran.

OK It sounds alot like the one from years ago.

There is also a faux Atkins mix that we used for years. Let me search for a minute and I'll see what I can find you.

I have a few for you. But the stuff we used years ago is different, on the first one is a faux mix recipe too.

He is one we used for bread, waffles, and pancakes.

I made the bread on the Atkins website today and it turned out surprisingly good! It has a little different taste, a little dry, but definitely good.

It sure would hit the spot if you were craving some homemade bread with lots of warm melt-y butter!
