Made this today and it is in the fridge cooling now...no way this would have fit in 8x8 pan...i used a 9x11 and it was close to overflowing...I will report back tomorrow with the taste test.

Miss I have a question. May I use flaxseed meal in place of the almond meal for somebody who can't eat almond flour? LOL Please say yes.

Almond flour typically releases moisture due to its fatty nature, and flax seed meal typically absorbs it. They can play well together, but it's a little bit trickier subbing one for the other.

You could always make a mini batch to test before committing all of the ingredients, too! I hope it turns out wonderfully. I'll take a slice.
