Spaghetti Squash Recipes

I have never even heard of spaghetti squash until recently. Anyone who has cooked this before, reply and let me know how you cook it and what does it taste like? Thanks!!

I just posted a spaghetti squash lasagna. I prick it all over with a fork and bake it in a 400 degree oven for about an hour, or until it's tender. It tastes like squash, but is long and stringy. I really like it and think it makes a good pasta substitute.

I hack mine in half, scoop out the seeds, place cut side down on a plate, and nuke it until done. It depends on the size of the squash. Then I let it cool, and fork out the strands.

I have eaten it with butter and parmesan cheese, and maybe a little garlic and like it that way too. It's a great recipe and not hard to make either. I like baking it whole, to me it just seems easier. Then like Soobee said, just cut it in half, scoop out the seeds and then fork out the strands. You will not it's done because the strands will pull out very easily. I love all squashes, so if you like squash you will like it.

I microwave mine. Take a whole spaghetti squash and with a sharp knife pierce it (make sure it goes down into the center) about 3 times around it. Put in a glass dish and microwave for 15 minutes. Then let it sit for 5 minutes Cut it in half, scoop out the seeds and with a fork make the "spaghetti" strands out of the flesh.
