New twist to a low carb pie crust
 
1 cup Jennifer Eloff's bake mix (either plain or sweet)
1/2 cup carbquick
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 tbl splenda (optional)
enough warm water till it becomes a ball of dough

Press in springform pie pan bake 10 minutes or until brown

This is very terrific and close to a traditional pie crust. I think this would work very well savory or sweet. Even my DD who doesn't do low carb loved this.

I wonder if the gluten free mix will work alone without the carbquick. I must experiment! Thanks!

Hermann - you would need more butter for sure - maybe up to 1 stick. Can try half that - since you will be using water to bring it together.
