Replacement for Almond Milk

I don't use Almond milk very much and i have a recipe for 1 cup of it. What can I use for a substitution?

You can use 1/2 and 1/2 and water..Or my homemade LC milk or Calorie Countdown.

almond milk is so thin that it's almost a "conceptual" product. what is the recipe? I suspect water would work fine, and adding one tablespoon of heavy cream to one cup of water would be even better.
