Gourmet Bacon Burger Deluxe

OMG...it seems that I have been eating these several nights a week lately, because they are just soooo gooood!

And the ones that I make at home far surpass almost anything else out there that you can buy at a restaurant.

The Secret Recipe :-)

I fry 2 strips of good bacon in a pan until perfectly done...then I cook my large but flattened hamburger patty in the bacon grease, seasoned to taste.

Just before it's about done I top it with sharp cheddar cheese sliced off a brick, turn down heat, cover and let melt.

Then I top mine with mayo and mustard, thin sliced purple onion, tomato slices, dill pickle, the bacon slices, avocado slices, and topped with fresh cilantro. Salt and pepper to taste.

There is no way on earth that anybody would ever feel deprived while eating this meal. Just tastes amazing....the cilantro is suprisingly delicious on this.

Of course feel free to add or subtract according to your own taste. Enjoy!

Mmm, sounds good. I've been putting the toppings on the burger patty then putting the slice of cheese on the top and putting a lid on the pan just until the cheese melts. It keeps everything in place.

These are also great wrapped up in a big lettuce leaf...sometimes it takes two, but yummo!! Thanks for sharing.
