Christmas baking

Does anyone have any recipes that look very Christmasy. I'm looking for something to bake that looks like a Christmas recipe.

Couldn't you take a plain cheesecake and add peppermint flavoring and/or crush some sf peppermints? I see a plain one on page 321 of the new cookbook, one of Kent's recipes. (one of my many, many tags in this book )

The Chicken Lady posted a recipe for a chocolate swirl cheesecake. I think you could put peppermint extract in either the chocolate part, the vanilla part or both. It looks delicious.

I would make a regular cheesecake and crush SF peppermints up really well and swirl them in the cheesecake at the last before adding to the pan.

Peppermint extract is hard to work with from my experience..A little goes a long way.

Chocolate crusts are pretty easy..Just make an almond crust and add some cocoa and you might have to up the sugar sub..
