Baking LC

Starting to experiment with LC baking -- does anyone know why almond flour is recommended vs regular white or whole wheat flour? Is it the processed aspect of the traditional types? I have such a taste for something chocolate -- coca powder vs baking cocoa -- any opinions?

White flour is no good for you you must have just joined our little forum. There are no benefits to eating it. With almond flour you at least get some nutrition! I saw a post in the main lobby where one woman gets a bigger blood sugar spike from a piece of bread than a Snickers bar As for baking cocoa vs cocoa powder----they are one in the same!

Here is the quote from the main lobby:

just look up the carb count of a cup of almond meal/flour vs. white or whole wheat flour and you will know why!
