I also checked on the Dave Asprey site and it seems that there isn't a problem with adding other ingredients.

This was good, looking forward to seeing how it will hold me over through much of the day.
If you'd rather not leave the egg out overnight, just put it into some hot water for a few minutes and it will be "room temperature".

I started drinking this last week. 1 T butter/salted and 1 T coconut oil with about 1/2 c hot coffee whizzed in bullet-then pour into cup and finish off with more java. No hunger for hours. Someone said the energy of the caffeine plus satiety of the lipids make it a winner. It has for me.

There is NO problem with leaving the egg(s) out overnight!!! Eggs can keep at room temperature for a LONG time (weeks)! (As long as they are still in the shell!! NOT after being cracked!)
People used to never refrigerate their eggs. Some people still don't, especially if they have chickens and "raise" their on eggs.
IF they have been washed, they will not keep as long (refrigerated or un).
But leaving an egg (still in the shell) out on the counter overnight is NOT a problem. People have gotten to phobic these days on a LOT of food issues.

But if it is your preference not to leave them out then that is your decision.

For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life! John 3:16
My mind not only wanders, sometimes it leaves completely.

Now that my egg consumption has gone way up, I'm fine with them being out. I do the same with butter now that it's cooled off a bit. The fridge is primarily so they don't get broken.

I tried the mix again this morning and was still hungry late morning - so, not sure what's going on, but maybe it's that I'm losing.

I tried this today, very but made the mistake of putting HOT coffee in the magic bullet and screwing on the lid! It exploded all over the place!!

Used my hand blender and it was great!! Good recipe!!

Wow, that's odd. I put the lid on the MB every time... of course, I do use the blender attachment most of the time.
