These turned out great! It made 15 mini donuts in my maker (3 servings). Not highly banana flavored... more "baked good" flavor.

2 eggs, beaten
2 T oil
2 T banana sf DaVinci syrup
2 T water
1 t LorAnn bakery emulsion
3/4 c almond flour
1 T coconut flour
2 1/2 T Swerve
1/4 t salt
1/2 t baking powder

Ok Peggy is that the one I'm talking about? I'm not sure but I wrote down the recipe and knew I was going to change it. I make some with catfish, salmon and my last ones were with crab. They are so good.
Amazing!!!

And you use a cake pop maker in Lisa's?

That's funny, I made crab cake cake pops for a party we had recently and they went like hotcakes (pun intended ).

Just made up my favorite crab cake recipe and put little spoonfuls into the baby cakes maker and served with homemade cocktail sauce and tartar sauce.

check out Big lots. They had them there. If you have a grocery that is like a superstore they will have them there.

Will keep Big Lots in mind. Target and all of our local Walmarts are superstores, which is why I was surprised Walmart didn't even have it! But, Target did - they were just out except for the floor model. It just figures when I want something, they're out!

Thanks!

Kohl's has the Babycakes Cake Pop/Donut Hole maker on sale right now for $9.99 online!! And that's before any % off coupons and Kohl's cash promos which they're currently running! I bought more stuff too so I would qualify for free shipping. I've been salivating over all these donut recipes and decided I had to get a donut hole maker too!

I now have a mini-doughnut maker...
Since I came by it second hand, there are no instructions.
Trial and error I guess...sort of like a waffle maker the first couple times...right?
Will be trying to create doughnuts for the 'newly gluten free' grandkids.
...as well as low carb for myself + Daughter in Law.
I make flax crackers by using the tortilla maker to flatten them...think gourmet. Sometimes I fry them, sometimes I microwave them.
I make mini muffins with flax as well....lots of different flavors...they have been a life saver for me in the past while doing the major part of my weight loss food plan.
Thanks to all for the guidance about the doughnuts...I am so anxious to get started when we get back from vacation!
Thanks, EVERYONE...

I found a gently used Babycakes Mini Doughnut maker at the thrift store for like $2, and made BF buy it for me. He was like "I though you were low carb" ( Why does he say that when I want something but not when he wants me to eat something high carb? )
Anyway, I've got plenty of old Low Carb Pancake mixes that I just never used since I discovered I don't really care for pancakes. So I whipped up a batch and tossed it in the doughnut maker...

cough...cough...d...r...y...cough

So, I added some more oil and a heck of a lot of cream cheese, and they came out beautifully and not dry, and super delicious.

Then I added blue berries and strawberry bits, and even put a bit of jam in the batter in the cooking well, and poured more batter on top for a "filled" donut. It was so good, and I got to brag to BF that I was having doughnuts for dinner!

I've got a coffee scoop that holds two tablespoons, and it's exactly the perfect amount for each well. Though a bit messy. Maybe I'll try a pastry bag next time.

Preparation:
Mix ingredients together and cook as you would other pancakes. I like to use a nonstick pan with a little oil. The only real difference is that they won't "bubble" on top the same way as regular pancakes. Flip them when the underside is brown.
Going to make this in the morning for breakfast. School got cancelled due to snow so everyone will be home. My oven is broken but I have the babycakes donut hole maker and this will be perfect

I'm sorry I just saw this. I use Lisa recipe and change a few this to salmon, crab, shrimp.

Crab pops

6 0z. crab (lump crab)
2 eggs
1/2 c. blanched almond flour
1/2 c. white cheddar ( d/f 2 T. nutrional yeast )
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. old bay seasoning
1/4 garlic powder
salt & pepper to taste

I mix this all together and fill pops , cook 4 to 6 minutes.

Salmon pops
small can salmon( i use copper river smoked salmon from alaska)
2 eggs
1/2 c. cheddar ( d/f 2 T. nutritional yeast)
3/4 c. blanched almond flour
1/2 tsp . baking powder
1 T. lemon juice
1 T. lemon zest
1/4 tsp. onion powder

Mix all together and spoon into cake pop maker & cook for 6 minutes until golden brown.

I have to look for the other. They are on my desk , LOL but on small pieces of paper.

Taste great!
