Cauliflower puree revisted

If you tried and were not impressed by pureed cauliflower, I encourage you to try again using my recipe. I made this tonight and it was amazingly delicious.

1 cup hot cooked cauliflower, pureed with 2 tbls butter, 2 tbls sour cream, 1 tbls cream cheese, 1 oz shredded cheddar, 1/2 tsp garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste.

I used my Ninja, but any kind of blender or food processor should work. It made about 12 ounces when finished, so you could get two servings out of it.

I ran the ingredients through fat secret and here's what it said.

Cals

Fat
43.65g

Carbs
8.32g

Fiber

Protein

I love to add half broccoli and cauli or half spinach and cauli. Makes a nice green dish (lol) but the flavor is really good
Make the same way as Speck just adding the green in along with the cauli

I make mine very close to that, except I use brie instead of cream cheese - DH, who professes to HATE brie, will eat this cauli ANY time.

Thanks for the reminder - haven't made it in a while!

The other secret is to press the water out before pureeing. Yum!
