Bruce's BBQ

Hello Everyone.

I am newcomer to the site. It is a great site, and it has been a helpful tool to keep me on track. I am doing the atkins diet.

I am going to try PAMMYJO Chicken tenders and I wanted to get the recipe for Bruce's BBQ sauce.

Here it is:

Bruce's Bourbonque Sauce

32 ounces tomato sauce
6 packets Splenda
4 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons paprika
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 teaspoons liquid smoke flavoring
3 tablespoons sugar free maple syrup
2 tablespoons dehydrated onion flakes
1/2 cup bourbon, optional

Bring ingredients to a slow simmer in a small sauce pan and reduce by about a third if you want to use it as a brush-on sauce.

Thanks for posting that recipe. I keep hearing people refer to it and Bruce's recipes, but no one ever posts links or a recipe! Is there a site to find these wonderful recipes?

I'm trying to make this recipe right now, but don't know how much splenda is in a packet! (I have the box) Help! Anyone know if it's a teaspoon or what? Thanks!

6 packets equals the sweetness of 12 teaspoons of sugar. So use 12 teaspoons or 4 tablespoons of the pourable splenda.

Yes, this is a very old thread - I used to make some of Bruce's recipes, but geocities is shut down. Does anyone know if Bruce made a new website with his wonderful recipes?

Thanks!
