Looking for Crab Quiche recipe

I have found many recipes for quiche, but I just bought some fresh lump crabmeat. Thanks so much!

I would use a basic quiche recipe and put the crabmeat in the bottom of the crust or plate that has been Pammed and put in the cheese over the crab and then add the quiche mixture.

I'm not sure about the appropriate way to credit the book and authors, but Ms. Broihier and Ms. Mayone - THANKS! If you want the info for the cookbook - private message me.

Crockpot "Seafood Crustless Quiche" (Paraphrased and tweaked by me...)

1 Tbsp butter
10 eggs, beaten
1 cup cream
8 oz Monterey Jack or Cheddar Cheese
1/2 tsp black pepper
6 oz crab (or more - can't hurt!)
6 oz shrimp (sub more crab)
1/4 tsp Tabasco or hot sauce
6 green onions (scallions) - use white and green parts

spray crockpot with butter
mix all ingredients except crab/shrimp
fold in crab/shrimp
pour all into crockpot and cook on low for 4 hours

***be careful not to overcook - will become dry ***

6 servings
Net carbs identified as 3.5 per serving

The one above sounds good to me, but I think I would add old bay seasoning and maybe 3 ozs. of cream cheese.
