1 cup of granular Splenda is = to how much erythritol and NuNaturals Pure Stevia?

Anyone know how much of the erythritol and stevia I should use to equal one cup of granular Splenda?

everything is usually stated in sugar sweetness equivalents.

I believe the point of granular Splenda is to make it equal by volume (not weight!) to sugar, right? (I've never used it)

So your cup of granular Splenda is equal to one cup of sugar. Erythritol is 70% as sweet as sugar, so you would need 1.43 cups of granular erythritol to equal one cup of sugar. I would use one cup and make up the rest with concentrated liquid sucralose like EZSweetz. .43 cups of sugar would be about 7 tablespoons, or 21 teaspoons, so it would be about 10 drops of EZSweetz, in addition to the erythritol.

If you use powdered erythritol because it's easier to dissolve, I think you need about half again as much as the granular erythritol, because it's fluffier to get the same weight.

look at your stevia package and see how much of it makes some sugar equivalent. a cup is 16 tablespoons or 48 teaspoons.

for both stevia and liquid splenda, I would cut back a little bit, because too sweet is much worse than not quite sweet enough with those two sweeteners!

this is all just about the sweetness. if your recipe uses the sugar as part of the structure of the final product, stevia won't work. you need a certain bulk that behaves like the sugar would, and erythritol is much better for that. the stevia will just be a tiny bit.

What I do is use an equal amount of erythritol (the granulated kind) to what the recipe calls for in sugar (or Splenda) - i.e., if it wants a cup of sugar, I use a cup of erythritol - and then I add 1/4 tsp. of the NuNaturals NuStevia NoCarbs blend - not sure if that's the one you have or not, but for my purposes, that comes the closest to 1 cup of sugar for me!

Sugar Sub Blends

I have a large 'sugar bowl' and mix Splenda and erythritol and or
Diabeti-Sweet white granular. Mix it well and I use it cup for cup.
They seem very compatible and friends say that they cannot tell
the difference when I bake.

To make the sweetness to equal a cup of sugar would it be

3/4 cup diabeti-sweet and 1/4 cup splenda or would I use a whole cup and add the 1/4 cup splenda?

I find converting the different types of stevia to be mind boggling at times.

I am similar to Charski only I don't have the no carb blend. I use one cup of erythritol and then a small amount of the stevia. Even within the NuNaturals brand, the amounts differ. I made that mistake with some doughnuts I was making and they were too bitter.
I use this chart for the type of stevia I have:

I am not sure what Diabeti-Sweet is

I did a google search for Diabeti-Sweet and nothing really came up with that description unless it is listed after the first couple pages. Is it similar to stevia or truvia? I purchased truvia's baking blend which has a couple carbs, but it can be measured cup for cup of sugar and does not leave an off taste. Thanks all for some great information on Low Carb Friends! I am just beginning low carb eating and have found this site and forum to be a wealth of information!
