Plan on making this today. I have a bottle of Oktoberfest (red amber ale) that I plan on using.

This is really good Palegirl ~ thank you for sharing. I had a few additions/changes to the recipe to use what I had on hand. I used a rotisserie chicken from the store and shredded it into a heavy duty soup pan. Next I added the beer, 1/2 jar of medium hot salsa, can of Rotels, pinch of poultry seasoning, dash of garlic powder, dash of Adobo seasoning, squeeze of cilantro paste, teaspoon of chicken base paste, and finally the cream cheese. I let this simmer on the stovetop and it only took about 15 minutes to pull together. I will be adding this to the "regulars" recipe box.

I also added this to the SOUPS forum in the Sticky threads here: -------> Favorite Soups!
