imitation crab meat salad?

Anyone use that in salads? I used to use it in a pasta (small shell) salad with mayo, celery and sweet onion but now will make it without the pasta...I wonder what the carb/protein/fat ratio is for that meat...I guess it's a kind of ocean whitefish...any other salad ideas for that out there?

The imitation crab has starch and sugar in it, so your better off using the real thing.

I make a salad with shrimp (and/or crab), mayo, shredded cheese, green onions, and fresh or dried dill-you can also add chopped hard boiled eggs to this.... Great served over lettuce for a summer salad.

I was bummed when I saw the ingredients and carb count. Plus, my DD saw an episode of "How It's Made" dealing with this. After that, she can't even look at it in the grocery store

I bought some nifty little single serve packages at the beginning of this diet and did not check label! OM they are loaded!! I threw them in the freezer for when the day comes that I can eat something like that (if ever....)
