chicken cream sauce with parmesan help

Hi everyone. has anyone every baked chicken with heavy cream? I was thinking of mixing some parmesan cheese and the cream and just pouring over the chicken.
Will this work?

Hi other Carolyn,

What I would do was to bake the chicken in a pan by itself...Then I would scrape the drippings off of the bottom of the pan and put them in a saucepan and add some cream to the saucepan..Cook until thickish, but don't boil..Then add your cheese, off the heat, so the cheese doesn't separate and then pour it over the baked chicken as a sauce.
