Best Cooking WPP?

So, I'm sure this has already been discussed.......but ANYWAY.....for recipe purposes just what IS the best Whey Protein Powder to use? The vanilla I have is already sweetened. Are you guys using a sweetened WPP and THEN adding in more sweeteners or are you using a non-flavored, unsweetened variety?

I'm KINDA close to being in the NOT OVERWEIGHT category and I would then like to experiment with some of the recipes around here.......until then I don't even dare......I already know I won't lose.

Please help a girl out....
Thanks, errybuddy

I use the unflavored and add to it if it called for vanilla, chocolate, etc flavored. I tend to not like my "breads" sweet/flavored unless I choose to have them that way. Unflavored is hard to find, I have found, but Designer Whey does make one that I like.

I use sweetened vanilla whey in everything. I like sweet, so it has never bothered me. I buy it onlline in 10 pound bags.

Thanks, guys...So, Soobee- do you add in other sweeteners too in recipes? Do you just pretend you're using plain WPP and not take into account that what you're using is already sweetened?

Yes, but I have a wicked sweet tooth. I sweeten it as if it isn't already sweetened. But taste the batter, and you can adjust it to your liking. You will also be able to tell which recipes stay as sweet as the batter, and which ones seem to lose sweetness upon baking.
