Picky DBF

Alright guys, I have a challenge...

My DBF has decided to start eating low carb, he's a major sugar eater. So I'm kinda weening him down to a lower carb way of eating. Really trying to get as much processed sugar and grain out of his diet as possible (sudo Primal Blueprint-stay away from poisonous things). He's also doing P90X with me. We're having trouble finding stuff for him to snack on, especially stuff he can take to work.

He's just so darn picky! He won't eat sausage or anything like that other then pepperoni, porkrinds, yogurt, or cold bacon.

He does like deviled eggs so I will be making big batches of those each weekend.

Today I sent him to work with a bannana w/peanut butter, cheese, nuts, strawberries, and pepperoni.

What other ideas do you guys have for stuff he can grab and gobble?

If I nuke an ounce of turkey pepperoni for 1 minute, I get 17 pepperoni chips. I love this snack. I also love jalapeno stuffed olives. You can roll up luncheon meats (watch the carb counts) with cream cheese. Add in whatever else you like to flavor it. Some people make little muffins out of eggs, bacon, cheese, and whatever chopped vegies you like. The cream cheese muffins are a big hit, as are the flax one minute muffins.

Thanks Soobee, poor guy, he's dieing of induction flu. He's cutting sugar, grains, and caffeine all at once. He was a huge Monster drinker.

Ugh, went through/going through this myself. My bf usually only eats 1-2 times a day, mostly once, so I cook him whatever I'm going to eat. I did buy him some lower carb bread (8g per slice), he hasn't ate it yet, and low carb tortillas (4g per tortilla), and he eats those with whatever I'm cooking every now and then. He's always been a big meat eater so it's not hard to fill him up on meat and whatever veg I make. As long as it's got a lot of cheese in it, he's happy.

Maybe make extras of dinner and send it to work with him?

My BF is very picky and he is not going low carb per se, but he is cutting back. He decided to try to cut back because he likes the food that I have been cooking/eating. Some of the staples are:
Mock Mash
Fresh Green beans steamed then sauteed in a little bacon grease
Linda Sue's White Castle Pie
Crustless Quiche
Cheese Cake Muffins
Ms Woods Whey Not Cake cooked as little pancakes
String Cheese
Oven roasted zuchini with parm on it

I'm sure you get the idea. He basically does meats and veggies at home and adds in his carbs at work or as snacks. He has even passed up pizza to have the WC pie.

Ya know what tho , if it makes him feel better to stay with LC let himhave some caffeine
I truly believe that for a person wh is use to alot needs to be weened off it
The hospital staff saw that while my blood pressure was up and my breathing bad I finally got the Dr who was subbing for my Dr to write an order for caffeine and the next BP reading my pressure was down and it kept going down, and it really helped my breathing

The caffeine part was all him.

He's dying today, day 3...I expect he'll be coming home early from work sick. Poor guy

He's just hard headed, he quit smoking like this too. Cold turkey.
