This is interesting as well. I was unable to find research on yogurt until I see what Jennifer has posted. I make my own and that is what I have every single morning. I was afraid it was very high in carbs, but I see it is not, and I make mine extra sour, so maybe even lower?

Hi, Jennifer. I just made this and I think it's fabulous! I added a few dried cranberries. I love a bit of cereal before bed and this will be perfect. I was amused that you said you weren't sure this was even worthy of sharing because good cooks are their own toughest critics. I was reminded of the first Thanksgiving after moving to Mexico. I didn't realize their potatoes were the kind that are great for potato salad but not great for mashing. I had invited 15-20 people for dinner and when I began mashing the potatoes they turned to glue. I had plenty of food and said to a friend (who is definitely not known for her cooking) "I'm not going to serve these. No one will miss them." She thought they would be fine and I said "I don't serve my mistakes!" Her reply was classic and really put things in perspective. She said "If I didn't serve my mistakes we'd never eat."

So glad I found this thread. We love this cereal. I leave out salt and sub in sf Carmel syrup for water. Delicious. Thanks, Jen for posting.

Made this today, but subbed some corn flavoring for the water and sweetened it with liquid Splenda before baking (I did mine in the oven). Not quite Frosted Flakes, but yummy and as close as I am ever going to get! Thanks so much for posting it, Jenn!
