Hi! I had this for breakfast today! It was yummy! I was afraid it would be gummy, but no. I found out that a packet of sf pudding added 24 carbs :O The whole recipe came to 31 carbs I think. 3,4 per piece. Not too bad, but it's not 2 carbs I'll eat it still though. I ate it from the freezer and it was really good

This is what I had saved up on my computer.

Using Jello as flavoring
2 eggs
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup coconut oil
2 1/2 scoops whey protein powder
1 small package lemon jello or any flavor (mix powder with protein powder)
1/2 cup sweetener
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
enough DaVinci syrup to make it the consistency of cake batter

SF Pudding mixture
1 stick of butter melted
2 eggs
2 1/2 scoops of the vanilla protein powder
one small package of SF banana pudding mix dry
1/2 tsp. of vanilla
1/2 cup of sweetener or 1/4 splenda and 1/4 eryhtritol
1/4 +tsp. of baking powder

Then I added water after I mixed this all up. I think I must have added about 3/4 of a cup until it looked like cake batter.

Basic vanilla flavor, cake like
2 eggs
3 scoops whey protein powder (vanilla) 90 gram? 1 cup
1 stick butter
1/2 cup sweetener (I use liquid sweet n low)

Melt butter, add eggs, whey protein powder and sweetener. Mix well and put in an 8x8 baking dish. Cook on 325 for about 15-20 minutes.

Counts per batch: Cal:1347 Fat:364 Carb:8.8

For the chocolate, cake-like
2 eggs
2.5 scoops whey protein powder. 75 gram?
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 stick butter
1/2 cup sweetener

Per Batch: Cal:1322 Fat:364 Carb:13.3

Less cake like
If you want these less cake like and more hard and portable and "bar like" only use 1 egg. The counts for the recipe this way is: Per Recipe: Cal:872 Fat:312.8 Carb:8.8. Ca 1 per 1/9.

People have been playing with the recipe over at LCF and came up with some pretty tasty looking treats.

* A pinch of baking powder and salt to taste.
* Chocolate chips (use more than I did here, which was one half a chocoperfection chunked)
* I have a version in the oven now...i used strawberry protein powder and orange extract with coconut oil instead of butter. Also used davincis for sweetner.
* Use 2 tbsp butter + 4 oz cream cheese.
* I made some peanut butter ones last night and used 2tbsp of peanut butter, but also used 1/2 cup of German Chocolate DaVincis, but had to add another scoop of protein powder, and they turned out good as well.

Linda Sue: 2 carbs per 6th square
4 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup granular Splenda or equivalent liquid Splenda
1/2 cup vanilla whey protein powder *
1 egg

See under

Linda Sue Chocolate: 3 carbs per 6th square
4 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup granular Splenda or equivalent liquid Splenda
1 1/4 scoops chocolate whey protein powder ca 37,5 gram?
1 tablespoon cocoa
1 egg

In a 4-cup glass measure melt the butter in the microwave. Add the Splenda and mix to combine. Dump in the protein powder and the egg. Mix well with a spoon until you have a smooth batter. Spread in a greased 5x7" baking dish. Bake at 325ŗ about 8 minutes or until set. They probably won't brown much. Cool and then cut into squares.

Cinnamon roll/monkey bread
I put a mix of Somersweet and Diabetisweet brown and lots of cinnamon in the baking pan FIRST. Then I add the basic mix on top. I also sprinkle that with cinnamon and bake.

Any seepage of butter mixes with the "sugar" and cinnamon and makes a delicious and decadent glaze. I turn it over onto a plate when I take it out, while it is still hot. It glazes up and makes what tastes like heaven to me!

Lower Calorie version
2 eggs
3 scoops Vanilla Protein Powder
1/2 stick (4T) butter
1/4 C water
1/4 C Splenda or liquid equiv.
1t vanilla
1t baking powder

Blend together and bake at 325 for 15-20 minutes.

It takes these a bit longer to cook than the ones with all butter. I took them out after 10 minutes because they LOOKED done. After cutting them I saw they were still a little foamy at the top so I baked them 5 minutes longer.

Peaches and cream cake
Grease 8x8 pan and preheat oven to 350

Peel and slice 2 medium peaches. Toss with 1/4 cup sweetener. Place evenly in bottom of pan.

Whisk:
3 TBS softened cream cheese
2 TBS melted butter
1 c sweetener
1/2tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
3 scoops vanilla whey protein powder

Pour over peaches and bake 15min

Serve upside down and top with fresh thick whipped cream!

Tips:
I bake mine for about 10 minutes, turn off the oven and let them *sit* a minute or two longer. PERFECT consistency and taste. I, too, use baking powder and will continue.

Not Cookies
1/2 cup melted butter (or fat of choice)
Liquid Splenda equivalent to 1 cup + a splash of davinci vanilla for flavor and 1 big TBLS diabetisweet brown
2 eggs
1/2 cup plain protein powder (adjust for thickness). I use InkoSpor MUSCLE 95.
A pinch of baking powder and salt to taste.
Chocolate chips (use more than I did here, which was one half a chocoperfection chunked)

I used mostly butter, but topped it off with a spoonful of EVCO. Melted it. Probably just over 1/2 cup total melted.

Added some liquid splenda equivalent to 1 cup ( I would use some davinci vanilla here as well next time) and about a TBLS of diabetisweet brown. Mixed with stick blender.

Added 2 eggs, mixed again.

Added 1/3 cup protein powder and a pinch of salt and a pinch of baking powder. Mixed (I add the salt because the butter I have is unsalted.)

It was too thin, so I added about another HALF of the 1/3 cup (1/6 cup??) and stirred it in by hand as it was now too thick for stick blender.

Then I added the chunks of ChocoPerfection and voilą!

I baked them at 180 CELCIUS, which is 350 F I think. About 15 min, but I'd leave them in longer next time. Just keep an eye on them!

I need the sweetener issue cleared up. Are you using a 1/2 cup of liquid davincis or are you all using an equivalent to 1/2 cup of sweetener.

I would say it's 1/2 cup of liquid DaVincis, or if it's like concentrated splenda, equivelant to 1/2 cup.

I haven't made it either!

I had made them into cupcakes with glucomannan powder before and that recipe was one of my favorite. Very moist. I'll go back in the thread and try to find it, but it's on my blog for sure.

ok because I used ez sweets equivalent to 1/2 cup sweetener and that was only a 1/4 teaspoon of the liquid sweetener...my finished product tasted like chocolate packing peanuts...styrofoamy so maybe more liquid if using a concentrated sweetener.

This made an absolutely divine Vanilla lava-y cookie-y, custard-y dessert!!! To think I really did not believe I would like a baked good depending so heavily on protein powders!!! I only tried it because so many people loved it. My exact recipe... not so different except I used a different sweetener and had a successful Jay Robb use.

Whey Protein Not Baked Custard

2 T butter
4 oz cream cheese
3 eggs
3 T SF Vanilla Torani syrup
1/2 cup Swerve
1/2 cup Vanilla Jay Robb Protein Powder
1/2 cup unflavored, unsweetened Whey Protein Isolate (bulk bin)
2 t baking powder

In a medium bowl, microwave butter in 15 second intervals until just melted. Add cream cheese, microwave 30 seconds more. Stir with a fork. Add eggs 1 at a time and stir with fork after each. Add syrup and sweetener and stir until thoroughly combined and looks like thin cake batter. Add protein powders and baking powder at the same time and stir with a fork just until moistened and no more dry powder remains on top. The batter will be lumpy! Pour into a nonstick foil lined 8x8 inch pan and bake at 325 for 20 minutes exactly. It will be wobbly still. Allow to cool on stovetop then cover with plastic wrap and completely chill before cutting. Makes 9 servings.

I am guessing it will require a few more minutes of cooking if you want hot lava bars to eat.

I am in love!
