Lovely, easy marinade

I used this for salmon last week but decided to use it for steak today. Here's the recipe:

about 1 pound steak or salmon

1/4 cup each of soy sauce, sf maple syrup, oil plus about 1/2 tsp garlic powder and lemon pepper, dash salt.

combine marinade ingredients, pour over meat/fish in a ziploc bag. Marinate all day or over night. Grill steaks about 4 minutes per side for a rare outcome. For fish, preheat oven at 425. Spray a piece of foil with Pam and place fish inside, seal. Bake for about 22 minutes.

I'm not sure of the carb count because much of the marinade is not absorbed. The flavor is lovely and easy to make using ingredients most people have on hand
