Toppings for hamburgers

I love a good hamburger patty. What is your favorite toppings?

1. cream cheese & jalepenos
2. almond butter and mayo
3. bacon, cheese, sunny side egg
4. cheese and avocado

Lets get the list going.
Add your favs by "Cut and paste" so we can all see the list instead of having to read them all from past posts.
I hope to see some amazing favs!!!

Every morning I have a half pound burger topped with a slice of deluxe American cheese and some of this sauce. I never get tired of it and look forward to my breakfast burger each day. I also love them like you see in this photo with caramelized onions and cheddar cheese.

CREAMY BBQ SAUCE
1 tablespoon low carb barbecue sauce *
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1/8 teaspoon granular Splenda or equivalent liquid Splenda, or to taste

Blend the barbecue sauce, mayonnaise and a little Splenda, to taste. Serve over grilled hamburgers.

Makes 1 serving
Do not freeze

* I use KC Masterpiece Classic Blend.

We had buffalo burgers last night - DH had his topped with mustard, sweet onion, pepperjack and my homemade BBQ sauce; mine was chipotle mayo, pepperjack, lettuce, and bacon.

I also like sliced avocado or guacamole on burgers.

Bleu cheese or gorgonzola cheese are also excellent!

that looks great Linda Sue!!
I never thought of having a burger for breakfast but I have eggs and bacon for dinner.
I was thinking about doing burgers for one full week since hamburger is on sale and wanted ideas.
Let me wipe the drool off the key board.

I like mine with blackened seasoning and a glob of (Linda's recipe) cole slaw.

I make a batch of burgers about once a week to have on hand when I get the munchies. I just reach in and grab one and sometimes eat that sucker COLD from the fridge. They're tougher to eat that way so I get my CHEW on! LOL

Compound Butter

It's one of my favourite toppings for chicken, hamburgers or beef.

It's just butter combined with your choice of fresh herbs, cheese, garlic, nuts - the sky's the limit, really.

For hamburgers, I love Bleu Cheese Compound Butter. It sure gets those tastebuds going!

You can also add sweetener to butter, and nutmeg or cinnamon, though they probably wouldn't taste as awesome on a burger

A couple of my other faves:
Chili/Lime
Parmesan/Garlic
Basil/Garlic
