I have been trying to find ways to work plain greek yogurt into my diet and just made this.

Berry Yogurt Protein Shake

1/2 c (4oz) Greek Yogurt (I used Fage)
1/2 c unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/2 c mixed frozen no sugar added berries (raspberries, blueberries, blackberrie, and strawberries)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
5 drops liquid splenda
Note: may need additional sweetener depending upon the sweetness of your berries

Blend well. It will give your blender a work out!

It comes out nice and thick, that you need to eat it with a spoon.

1/2 teaspoon chocolate extract

large glass of crushed ice
Blend together in the vitamix until thick and smooth.
Stupid question but I gather this is all you need for a breakfast? Do you have the calorie and carb count? Sounds really good. And guess you could add a bit of fiber to any of these as well, unless the protein powder has it in it? And is the Jay Robb you are using the one on Netrition? Jay Robb Whey Protein Isolate? Sorry so many questions.

Not my recipe but I am a new user of Jay Robb Whey Protein powder. One scoop of Jay Robb vanilla has 1 gram carb, 110 calories. I don't use the the xantham gum, tried it and didn't like it. I use a version of Char's shake, almond breeze non sweetened chocolate or vanilla, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, one packet stevia, dash vanilla and salt, one scoop Jay Robb, 6 or seven ice cubes. Char's version includes one tablespoon heavy cream and I think coffee crystals. I left those out. This makes a huge shake, keeps you full for hours. The almond breeze has 45 calories per cup, one gram carb, and the cocoa has 10 calories, and I think one gram carb.A real bargain calorie and carb wise for a giant , filling breakfast that tastes great.Check out the whole thread, so many great ideas.

Has anyone come up with a good frappuchino type using the starbucks via packs? Or really anything using coffee crystals instead of brewed... I dont have a coffee maker.

Google search for 'healthy indulgences frappucino' - this is pretty tasty. I've made a few tweaks with flavors and 'add-ins' but it's a wonderful start. Let me know what you think!

In a blender, put 1 or 2 shots of espresso, cooled, (or in a pinch, I'll use one packet Starbucks Via Italian Roast instant coffee), 7-8 oz. unsweetened Trader Joes Coconut Milk Beverage (almond milk or some other LC milk will doas well), a shot of heavy cream (I don't measure, but about 1 Tbsp.), 1 scoop vanilla or chocolate whey protein powder, and a couple of ice cubes. Blend until smooth. You can add 1/4 tsp. xantham gum for a thicker mouthfeel, too. If you want it sweeter, add some Stevia or your sweetener of choice.

Iced coffee

1/4 cup heavy cream*
2 eggs*(I used the carton eggs)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder*
1 tsp of instant coffee*(I have Folgers but it is a bit strong)
DaVinci or Torani SF flavor of your choice to taste

Blend, enjoy over ice.

I used the chocolate flavor.

1tsp instant folgers coffee crystals
2 packets splenda
3 tb hwc
2 eggs
2 ice cubes

Too thick, but tastes about right

Add water or coffee or almond milk...? The only liquid I see in yours is the 3tbs hwc and ice cubes.

Not sure if this is induction friendly and is an old one but sounds good:

And if you go to the Netrition site and look up chocolate pudding mixes, they sell one that is waaaay lower in carbs than the sugar free kind you can buy in the grocery store. It is in my shopping cart now for the next time I put my Netrition order in.

Thank you, Tilly. That looks delicious. It's so hot that yesterday I bought some small Dixie Cups and I already had the sticks, so I needed a recipe for something cold, and preferably something that was both cold and chocolate! I read this topic every time something is added, and when I came over to read it today, there was your post -- not just cold and chocolate, but right in front of my nose. I didn't even have to look for it!

I'm off to make it right now! Thank you again.

Unfortunately iit turned out hard as a rock. I'm sure it was my fault because I'm not a pudding eater -- I only had it because I used to make it for my husband -- and the pudding mix (JellO Brand, not Dixie Diner) had been sitting in my pantry since before he passed away back last October. So it was probably too old.

Anyway, it didn't make a very good fudgesicle, but I took the stick out, put it in a bowl, and ate it with a spoon as it melted and softened. And it was pretty darned good. I had added two Tbsp. of extra cream to make it smoother as suggested in the recipe and it might have been better without the extra cream. But I ended up enjoying it, and since I only made it for myself that's what counts.

I don't know that I'll make this recipe again, but I'm going to finish the three pops that are left and I'll enjoy them.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Anyone know what you could add to this to make it softer and yet like a fudgesicle? Glycerine, gluc?

Sure, but you had mentioned how thick it was... I was offering suggestions on how to thin it down.

Glad you enjoyed the one from today

From Wikipedia.
To bump a thread on an internet forum is to post a reply to it purely in order to raise the thread's profile. This will typically return it to the top of the list of active threads.
