I'm making a Sicilian Meat Roll and wish I had a smoker but since I don't it has to bake in the oven.

Well, IMHO, you COULD FRY or TOAST or BAKE a fatty, no?? I mean, sure, smoking a fatty is preferable for flavor but no reason to wait til smoking season if you have some other method of dealing with a fatty - I'm sure it will be tasty good anyway!

If you bake it, I think it would be called a stuffed meat loaf!

Just replying so you know you can bake them, you do not have to have a smoker. I am sure they would be much better in a smoker but that will have to wait til the weather warms up around here.
Thanks for your post! I was about to go into mourning, as I don't have a smoker..

Here's a few "shorthands" you might run into (among others)

DW - Dear wife
DS - Dear son
DD - Dear Daughter
(and all the other relatives)
IMO - in my opinion

I always wonder who ever started that DH, DW stuff. I will never use those initials as I never SAY the word dear in real life so why would I shorten something I never even say. Just seems dumb to me.

As for the LOL.........When I first saw that yeas ago I thought it meant Land Of Lakes!

btw, your fatty looks awesome - hehe.......size matters.
