Carb count in 2 cups of heavy whipping cream?

What is the carb count in 2 cups of heavy whipping cream? The side of the carton states ZERO in 1 Tbsp.

I've seen on different websites that the US mfg are only required to state the carb count if it is 1 carb or higher and do not tell you if it is like .5 carbs, etc.

I've heard that Canada has different rules/regulations and they must disclose the actual carb count, no matter how small.

Can I please have some help here?

Thanks all!
Lee

I can't answer your questions regarding Us vs Canada carb listing requirements, but I can tell you that according to http://www/******.com there are 13.3 carbs in 2 cups of heavy cream.

I've used Nutrition facts, calories in food, labels, nutritional information and analysis – NutritionData.com and they state 3 carbs per cup. What do you think?

It took me a minute to spot the problem with the count you posted but a search of the USDA site clued me in. You got 3 carbs per cup of "whipped" cream weighing 120 grams. Cream doubles in volume when it's whipped so that number is for about 1/2 cup of liquid cream. According to the USDA site, 1 fluid cup of heavy whipping cream weighs 238 grams and has 6.64 carbs.

Thank you LindaSue, I've adjusted my recipe accordingly. I want to be as accurate as possible. I'm making a coconut pie tonight! I also bought some Canadian white & brown granulated Sugar Twin since it's 1/2 the carbs of Splenda! We'll see how it turns out!

Here's my recipe.

Impossibly Easy Coconut Pie
(6 servings - 38 net carbs per pie – 6 carbs per slice)

1/2 cup Carbquik – 6 net carbs
2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream – 12 net carbs
1 cup NOW unsweetened medium shredded coconut – 8 net carbs
3/4 cup granulated white Sugar Twin– 9 net carbs
1/4 cup butter or margarine (soften it in the microwave)
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
4 eggs – 3 net carbs

1. Heat oven to 350║ F. Grease 9-inch pie plate.
2. Stir all ingredients until blended. Pour into pie plate.
3. Bake 50 to 55 minutes (I baked 50 but would bake it less next time and
test it) or until golden brown and knife inserted in the center comes out
clean. Cover and refrigerate any remaining pie.
