Kevin Pa's LC Chocolate Chewy Brownie

Tried this today and they are very very good. Just like a pre LC brownie, I was so pleased with the result. I also made up a little butter cream frosting with Whey Low powder and had that on half a piece, very good. This is a keeper. I found the recipe on Kevin's website.

Funny you should post this, I was looking at them too. *drools*

Only I don't have any sweetfreeze. Will any other sweetner work?

Marla, almost any recipe that calls for sweetzfree I use splenda quickpacks now but I guess now that they discontinued selling them i will have to start giving my money back to the sucralose bootleggers. Either that or buy a lifetime supply from splenda.

Thanks Kevin.
I have plenty of splenda quickpacks. I came across them on sale, without a notion that they were being discontinued and bought like 8 boxes of them.

Gonna make brownies tomorrow!

They get bettter each day, I got 12 brownies and froze some of them. This is the version I made:

LC Chocolate Chewy Brownie

Wet
1 stick of butter
3 oz unsweetened chocolate(I used the pre-melted Nestles)
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 c. equivalent Sweetzfree

Dry
6 T. Almond flour
6 T. Wheat protein isolate 5000
1/4 t. baking powder
1/4 t. baking soda
1/2 c. PolyD plus (I'm using it up)
1 T. granular erythritol
1/4 c chopped pecans

Combine all the dry ingedients in 1 bowl and all the wet in another then mixed the dry into the wet.

I lined an 8 x 8 with that non stick foil and they lift out perfect when done.

60 min @ 275 degrees

4 carbs each for 9 brownies

I had plain PolyD, not PolyD plus
