How long does xanthan gum keep?

I bought it over 6 months ago; any idea how to tell if it's still good?

I agree with gettingsmaller. It lasts a really loooong time - I've had mine for years and it's fine. I just used it a few days ago.

Mine is at least 3 years old, and it works fine. I do store it in the freezer, although I'm not sure whether that's necessary.
