Vegan Goddess, what flavors did you order? I have sevral kinds, and some are better than others. I love the pistachio for ice cream and the pralines and cream for baking.

Bumping to see if anyone has used these drops lately, and what flavors you recommend, now that I see Netrition is carrying them. They sound intriguing!

I got my Nutrition order today and received banana and rootbeer. They smell wonderful. Tomorrow I am going to make an egg cream with the rootbeer to drink during my morning meeting. Did you order any Cathy?

I'm getting ready to send in my order right now! I'm trying banana, graham cracker, vanilla cupcake, pina colada, apple pie, and raspberry. Be sure to report back on how you like them!

I just placed a Netrition order today and added some Capella drops to try: Boston Cream Pie, Dutch Chocolate Mint and Peanut Butter. I am thinking of using them mostly in my egg creams, but also in coffee, OMM's, lc buttercream frosting, cream cheese muffins, coconut oil mud, high fat balls, and to flavor my sweetened ricotta. Usually my Netrition orders will arrive the next day, so I'll be trying these babies out very soon and reporting back.

Jeeze.........Lots of people posted about ordering, but hardly anyone reported back after receiving.
Anyone out there use the drops? I'm trying to downsize - I don't have enough room to have a gazillion DaVinci bottles. I already have Gingerbread and Blueberry crumble and am happy with both. I want more ideas/opinions and I want to know what goes well in coffee.............anyone?

I see they were thinking of making a Birthday cake flavored drop, but haven't seen it.

Bumping this up! I've seen a lot of mention of the Capella drops in the 24/7 Low Carb Diner blog so I ordered some. I want the flavor but not the splenda that comes along with DaVinci syrups. If anyone has any tips or tricks please share!

I totally forgot that I have a bag full of these somewhere. I need to dig them out and start trying them to see how I like them. I totally love the Lorann flavoring oils and most of the time it only takes a few drops of them but I do remember the Capella having some different flavors.

I started buying just the plain sweetened syrup from Davinci and Torani and then add a few drops of whatever flavoring I want. Works great, I just made some of the Angel Coconut from LindaSue's website to use in a recipe and I used the plain Davinci's and about 3-4 drops of Lorann coconut flavoring.

I use the Capella Flavlets, which have a "hint of stevia" according to the packaging, in my water all the time. My favorites are Peach and Pear.

I also have used the Coconut and Banana flavor drops, and really liked them. I like them better than extracts because they are so concentrated you only need a few drops and the bottles lasted a long time (I need to order some more, and want to try different flavors). Also, yes, not as bulky as having multiple bottles of the syrups.

I use them in OMM's with a couple drops of EZsweetz added. They are also good in Almond Breeze and coffee.

Curious I like the idea of buying only the plain syrup and then adding flavors. Not enough room to store so much of this stuff.

I think I have at least 12-15 torani/davinci/monin bottles in my cabinet, I don't really have a 'lack of space' problem but if I can find something more efficient and tasty I'm game. (And trying to get away from Splenda too) I got these mainly for flavoring muffins, shakes, yogurt and random other recipes that I can kick up a notch.

This is what I ordered - Chocolate Fudge Brownie, NY Cheesecake, Peanut Butter, Cinnamon Danish Swirl, Maple, Bacon and Egg Nog. Oh yes.

Yes, I did say bacon. Just wait till you see what I'm going to whip up with these!!

I'm de-lurking and have signed up to the BB so I can post this recipe.

In my last order to Netrition, I ordered several flavors of the Capella drops. I add the banana flavor drops to my morning MIM to make a "banana" muffin.

These are new favorites of ours for breakfast or snacktime:

Strawberry Cheesecake Protein Shake

8 ozs unsweetened coconut milk beverage, Trader Joe's (or unsw. almond milk)
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder, unsweetened
1/2 pkg Crystal Light Strawberry Drink mix
4 drops Capella Graham Cracker Flavor Drops
6 drops Capella New York Cheesecake Flavor Drops
4 drops Liquid Stevia
2 tbsps heavy cream
2 tbsps hulled hemp seed (or 1/4 tsp. xantham gum), optional, makes shake thicker
2 ea ice cubes

Place all ingredients in blender; blend until smooth. Makes 1 large shake, or 2 smaller ones.

Coconut Macaroon Protein Shake

8 ozs unsweetened coconut milk beverage, Trader Joe's (or unsw. almond milk)
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder, unsweetened
2 drops Capella Graham Cracker Flavor Drops
6 drops Capella Coconut Flavor Drops
6 drops Liquid Stevia
2 tbsps heavy cream
2 tbsps unsweetened coconut flakes
1 tbsps sugar-free chocolate chips (or a small bit of chopped 85% dark chocolate bar from Trader Joes)
1 tbsps hulled hemp seed (or 1/4 tsp. xantham gum), optional, makes shake thicker
2 ea ice cubes

Place all ingredients in blender; blend until smooth. Makes 1 large shake, or 2 smaller ones.

The only drops I've used are the ones for water. I tried all the flavors (for water) and the only one I really like is pear, but I like that one a lot.

Does anyone know if adding the apple flavors would make chayote squash taste more like apple like for an apple pie?

Oh, wouldn't that be nice, Skeeter. That flavor was on my wish list for the same reason, making chayote and zucchini taste more like real apples in recipes.
