Looking on line at a picture of the alcan box of non stick aluminum foil it will have the word SLIDE on the box in bright red. Regular aluminum foil is not non stick even if you use the dull side.

Might I suggest you just invest in a pan ? How often do you buy aluminum foil ? After a month or so, the pan would have paid for itself and you will still have many more months of use out of it.

I've been using a cookie sheet; was experimenting with the aluminum foil as I wasn't happy with the oopsies spreading out so much.
Do you have a tip on shaping them Shebasmudder or are you using a muffin top pan which I still haven't been able to find?

You can buy muffin top pans online. I bought a Wilton for about 12 bucks. Very heavy-duty, excellent quality, solves the oopsie shape problem.

Thanks for the tip; I'll check Ama*on for them. I really should check Jysk or the other nearby home stores as well.

Thanks Yaz, pretty sure we have one of those here in town. Worse case scenario I order from Am@zon or head to a speciality kitchen supply store

Update 25 May

Well what a surprise. My DW came home last weekend with a muffin top pan. Probably paid too much but the point is: we have one!
And boy do they ever help in making the perfectly shaped oopsie!
Don't know why I waited soooooo long

BTW, I played with the mayo recipe but didn't have much luck with it. I'm sticking to the tried & true using cream cheese.

Hamburgers

So last night my DW announces that we're having hamburgers. Usually, I just add salsa & what have you to it & eat them like a salisbury steak.
Last night, I quickly whipped up a batch of oopsies & had real hamburgers.

. .
Yes!I made my usual batch yesterday also.
It is like a bite into heaven with a tablespoon of S/F Raspberry Jam on the top...I mean bottom...because it is flatter......and spreads smoother!

Muffin Top Pans

Now to try finding another pan that doesn't cost the moon
Your dessert oopsies are interesting; too bad I'm not a big dessert eater. How the heck does one make an oopsie hotdog bun?

My DW keeps talking about making a trip across the border; maybe I'll have better luck finding it there.
I ended up eating the hot dog in a lettuce boat; not quite the same
