Made the twinkie again today, added a few sugar free chocolate chips to it. Fixed my sweets craving right up.

I made french toast with mine this morning, and OMG, it was the best breakfast I'd had in a loooong time!!

Now, where is that Twinkie recipe?

It is nothing more than a spray of whipped cream down the center. I think that I am going to make a batch with vanilla added to the roll. Maybe a little cinammon also. These are so versatile.

Do you mean once you fix them you put them together and put the cream in the middle like Cleo said she did with the pudding to make the Twinkie?
Thanks

Hey..My oopsie pie crust is still holding up from making it last night.. It's nommie..
I think this will be my pie crust from now on. Of course, you only can put pudding OR
ice cream in it..That would be good..Oopsie crust..let it cool..

Soften LC ice cream..and spread it in the oopsie crust..and freeze until firm..

Ok, somebody help me. I just made a batch of these, and I've read everyone's suggestions for usage, and they all sound so great. What do I try first??? LOL

I used all my eggs making egg salad and the Oopsies...so something without eggs please...

I finally made these oopsie rolls this morning...used 7 eggs because I kept mis-reading the directions, and then got some yolk in the whites while separating (maybe it was too early in the morning to be doing this!! LOL )....anyways, after baking, they came out great!

I ate one fresh out of the over, plain, just to see how they tasted. Almost no taste at all....next time I'll figure out how to make them tastier so I can eat them plain. But then I cooked up an egg, added a slice of American, and put it between two oopsie rolls with lots of salt and pepper:

Not bad at all!!

Carolyn, when you made the oopsie pie crust, did you do anything different from the stated recipe? Did you sweeten it more? Did you bake it at the same temperature and for the same amount of time? Did you let it dry out before you added the filling? How long was the filling in the crust without the crust getting soggy?I am definitely going to try this, but I need a little coaching!

I made a batch of dark Dutch chocolate Oopsies today. I made a delicious dessert by sweetening my Fage Greek Yogurt w/raspberrry Davincis and sandwiching this mixture between two chocolate Oopsies with some sliced strawberries. Very yummy!

That sounds great, lisa!

Carm-- do you eat burgers on the ones with chocolate?

olyc-- those turned out beautifully!

I ate at Sonic yesterday and had to photograph my sammich. It's a thing of beauty...

Kaos-- my suggestion?! A burger. go and buy the fast food burger you've most wanted, but couldn't have because of the bun. Then ENJOY using your hands for the first time in a long time.

To me, that is the greatest reward.

Making a double batch of Oopsies as I type!

Hi everyone!!
I am making another double batch of Oopsies as I type! I did do somethings different this time. I did add 1/8 tsp Xanthan Gum to both the 6 egg whites along with the cream of tarter. I also added 1/8 tsp of Xanthan Gum to the yolks too. Someone did this on another Oopsie post and I want to see if it would work from me getting the runny batter in the lower part of my bowl!! It worked!! I also added garlic powder to the batch and made 6 large buns and everything came together like it should..stood up beautiful with no runny in the bottom of my bowl. They are cooking as I type this. Will take a picture and let you all see them. I think the next double batch I make (which will be in a few min) will be desert ones. I am going to add Dark Cocoa powder to the egg yolks. I think I might but a dent in them when I set them up and put cream cheese in the middle like the danish ones to make Chocolate Danish Oopsie rolls!! What do you think that would work? Cant wait to go to Sonic tomorrow Cleo and get me the double cheese burger to eat on my Oopsies!!

Later and HUGS
Christina

Woohoo! Sonic!

Don't forget Arbys! They claim to not use MSG anymore, and their carbs in their buns.

Oh I wont..lol
I might just have to get a roast beef instead of a hamburger. I have been eating hamburgers for the past 3 days now I am a little tired of them. My make a Oopsie pizza for a change..lol Or how about a Oopsie pizza crust?? Might just have to try that on Wed. Got to many things to do in town tomorrow to make any more and need to eat my new one anyway.

Ok gang...here are my pics of my latest Oopsie. I did try one of the chocolate one..good but still not chocolate enough for me..need more work on that one!! LOL...I did notice something different with these..when you add the gum to them you can still see the egg white in them after baking They dont look like the first ones I posted. Guess it might be from the gum or the Not/Starch I added to the last double batch. The last picture you can see the whites in them. I had not noticed that before.

Have a good day everyone!!
HUGS

Even tho they aren't as fluffy, I think they looks delicious!
I might try 7 eggs on purpose!

Those look fabulous!

I just wanted to shout out. Arby's on an oopsie= heaven. But buy the small sammich. I bought the big, and the big one makes like 3 sammiches! It was colossal.

That sounds sooo good. But what to use as the sauce? I like to mix the arby sauce and the horsey sauce...

If I remember, the arby sauce is sort of like a bbq sauce. Why not try Low carb bbq sauce if you have some, or can make your own? I'm not sure about the horsey sauce, but I would think it is horseradish sauce right? Kraft make a horseradish sauce for less than 1 carb per teaspoon. HTH!

I need to figure out how to replicate the roastbeef from arby's at home. I will bring an oopsie in my purse but not bottles of sauce! But, thanks for reminding me I can just buy lc sauces!!

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but I made a double batch of the oopsie "batter" with a little extra splenda and instead of making round rolls I put a thin layer of it on the pan in a strip, then a hot dog, then covered the dog. I used to be addicted to corn dogs. This made a great alternative, and boy were they YUMMY! I got 12 out of the double batch but they went quickly.
