Eat Well/Be Well Chocolate Chips Return

Hi Folks:

Just wanted to let you know that it looks like these mini no-sugar-alcohols chocolate chips have returned under "new management." I'm happy to see it because I am running low on the stash in my freezer!

If you Google "eat well be well chocolate chips", you'll find the new source about 3 items down. I don't know if our preferred vendor, Netrition, will be able to restock these as it looks like a competing low carb site is actually remarketing these under their own label.

Tom - any chance of Netrition getting these back in. They (new source) seem to have other products that Netrition also sells so maybe they'd agree to Netrition selling the chocolate chips also.

I did send a question at Netrition about carrying them. I'll post back when I receive a reply.

Have to say I am disappointed in Dixie Diners low carb chocolate chips from Netrition. I used to be able to nibble on a few tasty old choc chips they carried (forgot brand name...minicarb?...tiny chips in a yellow bag) and they were a great treat. These current DD chips are fairly tasteless, in my opinion.

Im certainly hoping that they will be at Netrition as paying for shipping to Canada is quite high and I would like to just be able to order all my stuff from one place.

Hmmm, I did a search and couldn't find them.

Anyone else had a terrible experience with CarbSmart's Mini Chocolate Chips? They're almost unpalatable (straight from the bag)-- way too bitter! Maybe they're better baked into cookies.

I had to clean out and unplug my deep freezer last week and found a bag of Russell Stovers SF choc. chips, and 3 bags of the Hershey's Sf choc chunks. Not even an intentional hoarder. I think I never used them due to malititol. it about kills me. oy.

Thanks for reminding me about the Hershey s.f. choc. chunks - I've got 4 bags I haven't used. I didn't have room for them and stuck 'em in the freezer in the fridge in the basement - I'll remember to use them up when I do my Christmas baking.

I don't think they make them any more either, do they?

I really like the carb counter chocolate chips, even though they are too large, the taste is good. the eat well would be better though.
