DAVINCI SYRUP SUBSTITUTE?

I am wanting to make Flax Muffins and do not have any Davinci's as yet. I have looked at all the recipes posted lately but all use the syrup. Any suggestions? I have plenty of granular Splenda. Thanks in advance.

In most flavors, a cup of syrup is roughly equivalent to a cup of sugar in sweetness - so I'd think you could use a cup of water and the equivalent to a cup of sugar's sweetness in Splenda to make a close approximation.

Start with less and add more if needed though until the consistency/sweetness suits YOUR taste!

Remember if you make your own to count the carbs for that cup of splenda.

A cup of Davinci has zero carbs where a cup of a homemade version will have 24 carbs.

Thanks guys - made our first batches of muffins and they turned out great! I will definately be getting liquid splenda and more flax meal.

Also, if you can't find DaVinci, there's Torani which is carried in some grocery stores and at World Market.
