Grilled or baked Bacon wrapped shrimp

For sides:

Broiled asparagus --or--
Bacon wrapped asparagus baked, then sprinkle with cheese and return to oven to melt cheese. It's delicious!
Spinach Salad with Hot bacon dressing (sweetened with splenda instead of sugar)

How about a shrimp stir fry with onions, garlic and peppers maybe even a squeeze of fresh lemon and parmesan cheese?

I love to get a bag of the colossal shrimp at Trader Joes which are frozen but already cleaned. After defrosting them and rinsing them I pat them dry then put in a frying pan that I have heated olive oil and butter to.

I keep it at the highest temp. I can w/out smoking and I sautee them. Oh yea, I forgot to mention I sautee a couple cloves of garlic first before I add the shrimp. Sometime I add a squirt of Frank's hot sauce. Really good!

This is so easy and so good - get as many nice-sized fresh basil leaves as you have raw, peeled but tail on, deveined large shrimp. Get a package of prosciutto, halve them lengthwise - again as many pieces as you have shrimp.

Wrap each shrimp first with the basil leaf, then with the halved prosciutto, which sticks to itself and holds the basil leaf in place.

Sizzle in a pan with half butter, half olive oil til the shrimp is cooked through.

Great as an appetizer or part of a main course!

How about shrimp with sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and low-carb alfredo sauce over Dreamfields pasta? One of our favorites.

Or shrimp marinara or fra diablo over Dreamfields pasta?

Or steamed shrimp with low-carb ketchup mixed with horseradish? Another favorite!

Weird but good....colossal shrimp sauteed in butter and grapefruit juice with seasalt. Goes really well with a zucchini cake (grated zucch, parmesan, pork rinds, old bay, egg, lemon, and a bit of mayo if needed.)

Looking forward to this weekend :P

I think we might use asparagus depending on price

I think I might use grilled shrimp w/ lemon juice (well not really 'grilled' as I dont have one LOL)

No dreamfields yet!! still on induction!

Another shrimp idea..............shrimp scampi over cauli-rice. Saute shrimp in butter and chopped garlic, add some lemon juice, white wine, fresh parsely, (sometimes I add red pepper for a kick)! This is another of DH's favorite. I love shrimp and we have it often!

Go to LindaSue's website. It's called faux rice. Basically you grate it or put it in a food processor on the grating blade. It's really good and looks a lot like rice!

Its like a chicken with shrimp veggies and alfredo sauce

And how do you make the Z-cake? Never heard of it.
Thanks, helper
