How many Splenda packets equal 1/2 cup?

I am about to make the cream cheese muffins and just realized that we only have the packets left, not the pouch. Does anyone happen to know how many packets it will take for 1/2 cup? I checked their website but did not see this kind of info.

Thanks!!

Shari! Thanks so much for that chart. I'm going to print that out and put it in the kitchen.

I just found the recipe for the cheesecake muffins and can't wait to try it, but all I have are Splenda packets, too, so thank you so much for the conversion chart!!

2 8oz. pks. philadelphia cream cheese
1/2 cup splenda
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Soften cream cheese about 40 seconds in microwave. Add other ingredients. Beat with mixer till smooth. Pour into 12 muffin pans lined with the papers. Sprinkle with cinnamon (optional). Bake at 350 for 20 min.

There's a thread on these over in the recipe room, or the recipe help room, one of those. (Sorry, I don't know how to do links!)

Thank you Shari.
Hard to find info.
Now I know the chocolate candy I made for the wife is not so low carb after all.

18 Splenda carbs and 6 for the chocolate and nuts.

Will try it with less sweetener.

You can also use 1/2 cup of vanilla Davinici's and save the carbs or buy liquid Splenda and save those carbs, too.

I find Splenda way too sweet, so I always use less than the recipe calls for. The difficulty is I never know how much less to use, so it's hit or miss. I guess if I did the same recipe multiple times I'd get it down, but when something is unpleasant because it's too sweet or not sweet enough, I'm not inclined to make it again. FRUSTRATING!

As a result I don't make too many things that call for a lot of Splenda and if they call for just a little I often leave it out altogether.
