Figs - Information please

I only have one book that has carb counts in it and it's very confusing about some items. Figs, being one of them.

I was wanting to make some fig preserves, sugar free, but only if they are low enough in carbs.

Can anyone give me a carb count of figs--like a half a cup or a cup of fresh ones?

thanks in advance.

Thank you kevinpa. I didn't know if there was a difference in varieties. The kind we have are small, about an inch or an inch and a quarter in diameter.
I guess I need to figure out how many figs make a teaspoon of jam now. (I have to keep myself busy around here. lol)

Well I just made home made SF Blueberry Jam and cooked down 2 quarts of fresh picked blueberries and only got a little over a cup of jam.

It's not sounding good for my figs. I guess it will be husband food. (he doesn't do low carb--lucky him)
