What's the diff. between a Radish and a Turnip?

And would either of them fry/bake up like a chip?

I'd say the difference is size and taste. They both would probably fry up okay, but I don't know how crispy they would get.

There is also a big radish, Daikon, I believe it's a Chinese vegetable that some people have fried up.
