"Chicken Lips" or that's what we call em!

I am from the south and we have a restraunt here that serves a dish called Chicken Lips, basically its bite sized chicken breaded and then dipped in hot sauce.

Well, we are on a hot sauce trip at our house and this is what we made.

Blaine had made a buffalo chicken salad with these and we tried his recipe. They are good,

4 boneless skinelss chicken breasts (cut into bite sized peices)(Blaine uses thighs)
hot sauce ( I am a Franks fan)
6 tbls soy flour
3 tbls ground pork rinds

Pre heat oven to 375 degrees. Place the chicken in a zipper bag, drop in soy flour and pork rinds. Close bag and shake to coat. Place them on a lined and greased cookie sheet, don't let them touch, they will be crispier this way. Blaine sprays them with some cooking spray for color too. Bake them for 15 to 20 min until done, for the last minute turn on the broiler to give them some color.

Take them off the sheet and place in a big bowl, toss them with your hot sauce and serve.

We eat these with zucchini fries and some ranch dressing for dipping.

Hope you like these...they are very much like the real thing. You don't taste the soy at all. You don't need much to coat, just a good dusting.

I like Blaine and I've no idea who he is!

That recipe sounds good, except i don't have any soy flour....will try this for Superbowl Sunday using Carbolose.

Thanks for the recipe
