No-Carb Coleslaw dressing?

Is there such a thing? I miss coleslaw, but cannot find one on the shelf that is sugar-free. Is there a good recipe somewhere?

Bag of coleslaw mix or angel hair cabbage. Mix Mayo, splenda, salt and pepper. Some people add vinegar, depending what you like it to taste like. I leave out the vinegar and add apples, celery and pecans sometimes. One of our favorite salads.

WOE: HCG R4P2 (previous Somersizer)
Start Date: April, 2008 (Somersize 2-01)
This is my husband's and my favorite CS recipe. This is a clone recipe that I have somewhat modified to make it legal for Somersizing:

KFC Cole Slaw

8 cups Finely shredded cabbage
2 Tbsp minced dried onion (can substitute fresh)
Sweetener to equal 1/2 cup sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 & 1/2 Tbsp horseradish
1 tsp celery seed
3/4 cup cream
3/4 cup Mayonnaise
4 T red wine vinegar (or vinegar of choice)
4 Tbsp Lemon Juice
Can also add minced orange pepper to simulate carrots

Instructions:

Be sure cabbage is chopped very finely.
Combine the sugar, salt, pepper, milk, mayonnaise, vinegar and lemon juice in a large bowl and beat until smooth. (I just do it in the processor)
Add the cabbage and onion and mix well.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

becksterinindy, I make virtually the same recipe. Everyone here loves it, even my Cole-slaw-hating husband.

The only thing I do different is use 1 T of buttermilk powder instead of the 1/4 c buttermilk. The powder keeps well in the freezer, and the cole slaw comes out a little less watery.

If you're looking for "no" carb slaw dressings, I doubt if you'll find one unless they only call for oil. Hopefully you meant "low" carb dressings in which case any of the ones posted would be super.

My grandmother use to make coleslaw with a vinegar dressing instead of the creamy one - so I tried it "low carb" style - works good too
vinegar - splenda (or other sweetener) - celery seed
Mix the dressing to taste and then put on slaw
