Corned Beef Brisket

Hi, Happy St. Patty`s Day !!!! Does any one have any idea how to cook corned beef brisket??? I have NO idea even how long to cook it. If any one knows PLEASE let me know. THANKS !!!

I usually bring a huge pot of water to a rolling boil, put brisket in water and let simmer for about 3-4 hours (depending on large it is). By the time it is done, its falling apart and sooo tender This is the only way I know how to make it...but my family is Irish and we grew up eating corned beef in a boiled dinners only...so I would be interested to hear how others cook it

I do it pretty much the same. I do sometimes put it in the crockpot..Its also very tender that way too

I always cook corned beef in the crock pot...it is incredibly good and about as easy as it gets. I always rinse the corn beef well after I take it out of the package because it's covered with a really salty brine. Rinsing it will not take away from any of the flavor. I put the corned beef in a crock pot and if the corned beef came with a seasoning packet, I add that too...the time will vary depending on the size of the corned beef. About an hour before dinner, I add a quartered head of cabbage to the crock pot and switch the crock pot on "high" until the cabbage is done how I like it. I usually do not add water to the crock pot.
