I'm pretty sure there are some official guidelines on the internet, but my general rule of thumb is fish/seafood, 1 day, poultry, 2 days, beef/pork/lamb (any kind) 3. I wouldn't really want to eat it any older than that.

You can of course freeze cooked burger patties and then just nuke them or let them thaw out in your lunch box, but I'm guessing yours are past the point of freezing?

I agree--freeze them. If you have already cooked them, they may last 2-4 days--depending on your fridge temp. If it's raw--and you just did it last night, you can freeze them--otherwise, maybe 2-3 days in the fridge.

I buy a sirloin on Saturday... and hack of pieces all week and cook them.. by Friday I thow out what is left.. beef is aged

once cooked I think meat gets hard and stupid.. so I would not do that but if I did I would keep them in an air tight container for 5 days.. if they are cooked well done...

Yup just make them up & freeze them. Use the defroster setting on your microwave to defrost them, or pull out however many you think you'll eat every day & put them in the fridge to thaw.

You just don't want to re-freeze raw uncooked meat - so if you get frozen meat, don't thaw it out & then re-freeze it. Why I'm not sure but it's the golden rule on meats for some reason. You can cook up & freeze dern near everything tho. Like chicken & turkey, have a cooking day & make individual packs to freeze. I wouldn't recommend doing this with good steak tho since it might change the texture.

80skid, I usually eat beef patties I've precooked w/in 3 days but have frozen them after cooking. Just put on a plate, cover with saran wrap (or however you microwave items) for about a mins. They come out nice and juicy for me.
