One minute Coffee Makers

Which one to purchase; the Black & Decker, Senseo or the Melitta.

Any comments.

Thanks

here s the trick to figuring this out... go to amazon, click 'all customer opinions', then select the option to rank them lowest to highest. read the bad opinions and use that to figure out which one screws up fastest!

HTH!

Buy the one that doesn't limit you to a single brand of coffee pods. I bought the Senseo, and although it delivers a foamy cup of coffee, I'm not too fond of the taste of the coffee they use. It has a kind of sour taste that always makes me wonder whether my cream has turned. There are a couple other brands of pods, including Folgers, that taste better, but they don't QUITE fit either size of the Senseo pod holders. Also, check the price of the coffee pods before you decide.

I bought a GE that doesn't use pods. it brews into the cup in about a minute. Well travel mug it brews up to 2 14 ounce cups at a time. It was about 20 bucks compared to the pod system at 60. The systems are not perfected....I have had to return and replace this pot once....and it gets clogged easy....however as other have said...I wont be limited to pods or one type of coffee this way.

Thanks Argo2d, Bruce and Darkfire. Thanks for that tip about Amazon Argo2d, good to know.

I may just get the Melitta one.

do the other brands produce a foamy cup like the Senseo?? I would enjoy that but definitely want a variety of flavors and the sour taste Bruce mentions concerns me.........good info. everyone!

I purchased the red Melitta and it produces the foamy cup of coffee. I do like the vanilla and hazlenut pods the best so far. I also purchased the Folgers pods and they are too big for my system. I squashed the pod in though, lol.

These are great for a quick good tasting coffee.
