chocolate sauce

Are there any GOOD commercial chocolate sauces out there? I find none in groceries and would be reluctant to try the unknown. For just a little for one person once in a while I don't want to make it though Josie's is GREAT (bottle some up, Josie)! The chocolate bars don't melt (ones without maltitil anyway). Thanks for any tried and true helps.

Yes there is, it's in the section with all the toppings for icecream It says in big letter LOW CARB. All you need is 1 tbsp, nuke it for 5-10 seconds. It's delish sold at Wal-mart.

Thanks, Tater. Will have to make a longer trip to the Superwalmart. They don't sell much here.

I bought the Russell Stover low carb chocolate sauce at Walmart and it is WONDERFUL!! It does have sugar alcohols, though, which I know many people can't handle. It was on the aisle with other lc products (baking mix, bars, etc.).

Bleah for Walden Farms, JMO. It tasted okay when I first tasted, but got yucky when I had a generous portion over LC Ice Cream. Still looking for an alternative.

Has anyone tried the Sweet-N-Low chocolate sauce? Saw some at Kroger's yesterday. Don't like sweet-n-low, so I didn't purchase.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing, if Sweet-N-Low was any good. Someone try it and let us know please. Walden Farms isn't good though edible with enough peanuts added for a topping.

The sweet n low chocolate sauce sucks. I bought both the strawberry & chocolate. They're both awful. Don't waste your money. You'd be better off making your own sauce with unsweetened chocolate, splenda (or davinci's syrup) and heavy cream.

Ditto sashadane's opinion of the sweet N low chocolate sauce. It's very bitter and doesn't really even taste like chocolate.

I've tried the Sweet and Low And the Walden Farms (love their salad dressings..) But didn't like either one..

Got some Russell Stover's..It is the best by far..absolutely delish..
I spoon some out, put it in a dish and microwave it. It is wonderful...

There is a coffee shop here that uses Godiva sugar-free chocolate sauce... I occasionally (around that TOM) order an iced decaf sugar-free chocolate breve from them.... YUM! Tastes better than the real thing! Maybe search for Godiva chocolate on the internet?

I whole heartily agree on the Russel Stover Chocolate Sauce. It is to die for.
